Primping:

Sometimes in the process of installing and removing drives and expansion cards, openings are left in the computer case.  For example, if you remove an installed CD-ROM drive, you will be left with a gaping hole in the 5.25 inch bay where it was mounted.  Most cases come with replacement covers which snap into place to cover up those holes.

If you remove an installed expansion card, you will be left with a hole in the back of the case where it was mounted.  Most cases come with replacement covers which screw into place to cover up those holes.

Some PC makers tie down all of the loose cables and cords inside a PC.  This can be helpful in that it prevents IDE, floppy, and power cables from stopping the CPU from spinning, with can be detrimental to the computer.
